Fit for Work Assessments

Contractors such as Sir Robert McAlpine are starting to ask for ‘Fit for Work’ certificates for site operatives, this will be necessary for everyone on their sites by 1st July 2017. We expect the other large contractors in the industry to gradually follow suit in the near future.   As a company we have  recently had all our employees Health Screened to ensure everyone has a 'Fit For Work' certificate. ​

One our customers has recently utilised the services of an Occupational Health Provider for ‘Fit for work’ certificates for all of their staff. Each screening lasts approximately half an hour and as a guide the costs are in the region of £600 per day plus travel costs, they can complete approximately 15 medicals in a day.
