HSE Refurbishment Campaign

We would like to make you aware that the HSE locally, have brought forward the refurbishment campaign originally scheduled for 15th May. It will now be starting 1st May and is running for two weeks. Throughout the two weeks they will be targeting refurbishment projects.

The items they will be focusing on (but not limited to): 

• Temporary Works
• Fire Strategies
• Ensuring compliance with Construction (Design and Management) Regulations 2015
• Falls from height 

They will also be focusing on Health on site. This will include (but not limited to):

• Manual Handling
• Dust control
• Asbestos Awareness
• Lead
• Control of Substances Hazardous to Health

​The above lists are not inclusive, please ensure your sites are working safely and you have suitable Safe Systems of work, Risk Assessments and COSHH assessments in place. Also ensure that you have the correct training for the tasks and equipment being used. ​
